How to Enter
To enter, you must have a TheBeadCoop.com account. Please send entry to Motherhen at motherhen@thebeadcoop.com.
You will need to read and agree to the rules of the contest, then you are ready to enter.
Information Motherhen will need: Your Username, Category, Name of Entry, Description of Entry, Approx. Date piece was completed and the name of TheBeadCoop Designer for the pattern you used to create this piece.
Image needs to be in JPG format, and no larger than 250 x 350, 72 dpi.
Contest Rules
1. Entry must be made up of mostly beads (at least 50% of the finished piece).
2. Entry must fit the category it is entered in.
3. Entry must be completed on or after April 1, 2008.
4. Contest is open to all TheBeadCoop.com members.
5. Contest will be broken down by stitch, then skill level:
a) Stitches
- Peyote/Brick
- Square/Loom
- Right Angle Weave
- Other
b) Skill Level
- Beginner (0-1 years using stitch)
- Intermediate (2-4 years using stitch)
- Advanced (5 or more years using stitch)
6. Entry may not have been published in a book, magazine, contest or website prior to this contest.
7. Entry must originate from patterns of present TheBeadCoop.com designers.
8. Entrants are the CREATOR of the finished piece and are granting TheBeadCoop.coms permission to use the graphics, information and images for this contest. The designer of pattern used still have all copyrights to the pattern and design.
9. Entries are limited to one entry per person per category.
10. Entrants will provide one (1) JPG file of the finished work.
a) File name must be 8 characters or less with a dot and 3 letter extension of jpg.
b) Resolution must be 72 dpi or less.
c) Picture size may be no larger than (w/h) 250 x 350 pixels.
11. Entrants must provide the following information when entering:
a) Date that the entry was completed.
b) Entry title
c) Entry description. (This is where you explain how your piece fits the contest theme and any special meaning the piece has for you. Information on beads/stitch used and size of finished work would be appreciated.)
12. Winners must send us the following once the contest is over:
a) Winners mailing address, this is needed for mailing out prizes. We will not post this or give this out without permission from entrant.
b) Country
13. Entrants understand that all entries must be posted to the Contest Gallery by July 31, 2008 midnight EST.
14. Entrants understand that by entering this contest they are accepting of rules, terms and conditions of this contest.
15. Entrants will provide valid and accurate information at the time of entry.
16. Designers at TheBeadCoop may only enter TheBeadCoop Designers category.
