Description: I designed this Rampant Lion from the Old Welsh Flag for my brother. To be true to the Old Welsh Flag, you should use pure yellow and pure red, but I that is too bright for me. I toned it down with darker shades. Don't let the details intimidate you. It's a beautiful piece.

This would be rather large as a pin, but it could be finished as an amulet, a small banner, a Heraldry badge or it could be wonderful sewn on a vest for a SCA event or Ren Fair!

Pattern includes color chart & suggested Delica bead colors.
